I covered a press conference this week held by the local Occupy movement. They were saying that Charlotte has been overtaken by "DNC Fever" (the DNC convention will be here in September.) While my agenda doesn't always sync with the group's, the interesting thing here was that they were addressing many of the same things we have in our newsroom.
